
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
¾ cup Nestle swirled chocolate and white chocolate morsels
Method
• Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Coat heart-shaped, 8-inch square, or 8-inch round pan with cooking spray.
• In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk until combined.
• In large bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and egg; stir with spoon until incorporated.
• Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients gradually; stir until dough forms.
• Coat hands with small amount of cooking spray. Using hands, transfer dough to pan and press until evenly distributed in bottom of pan.
• Sprinkle with swirled chocolate morsels.
• Bake 20-25 minutes or until set. (I prefer mine slightly underdone and really gooey.)
• Remove from oven; cool on wire rack before cutting.
• I can’t speak for the guys, but once you’ve had a piece of this in your mouth, you will never go back to Blondies ever again!
